Submission Preparation Checklist
Todos los envíos deben cumplir los siguientes requisitos.
Como parte del proceso de envío, las personas autoras están obligadas a comprobar que su envío cumple con los siguientes criterios:
- La postulación es una contribución original que no ha sido publicada previamente, ni se ha sometido a consideración, por otra revista.
- En caso de postular un pre-print, se deberá notificar esto al editor para verificar el estado del mismo.
- El texto postulado cumple con los Lineamientos para las personas autoras.
- Para garantizar una evaluación anónima, se incluyen en el documento del artículo a postular únicamente los datos de este: título, subtítulo, resumen, abstract, palabras clave y keywords; sin el/los nombre/s de la/s persona/s autora/s. Si en el cuerpo del texto se menciona o se cita a la/s persona/s autora/s, se deberá borrar dicha información y colocar en dicho lugar: persona/s autora/s, según sea el caso. Los datos serán integrados posteriormente si el artículo es aceptado para su publicación.
- El cuerpo del texto no deberá rebasar las extensiones señaladas en cada sección y en estos Lineamientos. Consultar el tipo de secciones.
Aquellos envíos que no cumplan estos criterios serán eliminados del OJS y se les notificará a las persona/s autora/s vía correo electrónico.
Archivos del envío
- Archivo 1 (Word o procesador de textos). Síntesis curricular, por cada persona autora, con un máximo de 120 palabras. Incluir nombre completo, adscripción institucional o actividad profesional actual, e incluir el número de identificación: ORCID. Este dato es obligatorio para todas las personas autoras.
- Archivo 2 (Word o procesador de textos). El cuerpo del texto, debe incluir: título o subtítulo del artículo, resumen con no más de 150 palabras, de 5 a 7 palabras clave. Desarrollo del texto de acuerdo con los requerimientos de la sección de la revista a la que se postule (revisar tipos de secciones), lista de referencias consultadas en orden alfabético y lista de pies de figuras, numeradas y con los créditos El aparato crítico (estado del arte) del texto deberá estar debidamente citado y referenciado de acuerdo con la normativa APA.
- Archivos 3 (tiff, jpg o word). Figuras ilustrativas o complementarias del desarrollo del texto, se pueden incluir hasta 12 imágenes (figuras: fotografías, dibujos, planos, esquemas, cuadros, etc.), las cuáles deben:
- fotografías, enviarlas en formato TIFF o JPG;
- tener un tamaño mínimo de 10 cm y máximo de 29 cm por su lado más ancho;
- tener 300 DPI de resolución.
Los archivos de este anexo se entregan por separado, en los formatos señalados, numerados consecutivamente de acuerdo con el orden especificado en la lista de pies de figuras. Las tablas, gráficas y esquemas deberán enviarse en formato editable (Word o Excel). El autor deberá solicitar los permisos de reproducción de las imágenes o recursos utilizados y/o hacer referencia de las fuentes de donde fueron adquiridas; así como dar los créditos correspondientes a cada una de estas; incluir nombres y datos específicos (personas, instituciones, laboratorios, equipo, etc.) de: toma de muestras, análisis, interpretación de resultados, obras con resguardo institucional, obra contemporánea, etc.
- Archivo 4. (Obligatorio). Pleca, imagen decorativa en formato TIFF o JPG. De 29 cm de alto y con 300 DPI de resolución.
TIPOS DE SECCIONES
Essay
This type of academic work focuses on presenting an argument, mostly conceptual or theoretical. It seeks to propose a main idea or an original argument, generally in relation to a specific aspect, which is presented through a critical debate based on the existing literature on the subject. Its tone and style tend to be more personal and argumentative than in a research paper. It may include subsections to help structure the narrative thread, depending on the author's style; however, the development of the argument must maintain a clear sequential thread. The length should be a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 pages (not including references, annexes or graphic resources). This type of contribution will be subject to blind peer review.
Research article
This academic text presents, in a structured and sustained manner, the resolution of a research problem. It may be based on field work, depending on the nature of the topic, and should include a complete development that includes: Presentation and context of the research and case study, background, research question (or hypothesis, if applicable), current state of the goods in question, methodology, research results and final reflections. To adequately address these elements, the report should incorporate a number of subsections. Its focus may include case studies, comparative studies and any multi-causal studies. The length should be a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 25 pages (not including references, annexes or graphic resources). This type of contribution will be subject to blind peer review.
Informe académico
This type of academic contribution is predominantly technical and documentative in nature, where the objective is to disseminate the processes, decisions and results related to a practical intervention, the development of a project or any applied research. Therefore, it is a report that reflects a past professional experience. It includes the context, background and/or a theoretical balance, but its main focus is to communicate the processes and results of an intervention, project or applied research; this should constitute the most significant part of the text. The length should be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 pages (not including references, annexes or graphic resources). This type of contribution will be subject to blind peer review.
Escaparate
This is an analytical piece that describes a conservation, restoration or museographic process for informative purposes. Its length should be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 pages (not including references, annexes or graphic resources), and may include up to 12 figures. This type of contribution is not subject to blind peer review but is evaluated internally by a member of the Comité Editorial de Revista Intervención (CERI).
Academic report
This type of text presents experiences, methods, results and problems addressed in the academic or professional field of conservation, restoration, management or museum studies in a reflective and synthetic manner, adopting an analytical and critical perspective of the approach used. The length should be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 pages (not including references, annexes or graphic resources). This type of contribution will be subject to blind peer review.
Exhibition design review
This type of contribution consists of a review of a book, event or exhibition that not only describes its main constituent elements, but also makes an evaluation and critical reflection, considering their strengths, controversial aspects, possible improvements or areas that merit further discussion or further exploration. Reviews should maintain an analytical balance, thus avoiding becoming too judgemental of the authors, texts or events reviewed. The length should be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 pages (not including references, annexes or graphic resources). This type of contribution is not subject to blind peer review but is evaluated internally by a member of the Comité Editorial de Revista Intervención (CERI).
Event review
This type of contribution consists of a review of a book, event or exhibition that not only describes its main constituent elements, but also makes an evaluation and critical reflection, considering their strengths, controversial aspects, possible improvements or areas that merit further discussion or further exploration.
