Abstract

Regarding the book Gramsci in Mexico, the author talks about the importance of the work in the study of political ideas. It emphasizes the influence and development of Gramsci’s thought in Mexico and Latin America thanks to the introduction, translation and dissemination of his work, as well as European Gramscian studies, by a plethora of thinkers, political militants, publishers, professors, researchers and left-wing movements, which in some spaces —mainly university— stimulated conceptual debate and political action in the context of the seventies and eighties of the twentieth century.
